Copper ore and concentrate

Copper ore and concentrate for smelters and processing plants, with precious-metal content assayed.

Overview

Copper reaches the smelter either as ore direct from the mine or as concentrate after flotation. Oxide ores suit leaching plants, while sulphide concentrates go to smelters, so the buyer's process decides which material fits.

We work with both. Where a lot carries gold or silver, the assay records it so it can be accounted for in the price.

Where it is used

  • Copper cathode production
  • Wire and cable
  • Brass and copper alloys

What to include in your enquiry

  • Tell us whether you need oxide or sulphide material.
  • Concentrate contracts usually reference treatment and refining charges.
